I'm Too Sexy for My Theme…

There's no better way to start off the weekend than trying out a new WordPress theme. I know, I need help. Or at least a hobby.
Anyway, I've been wanting to do it for weeks and last night I finally bit the bullet. I shelled out the $74.95 for one of Brian Gardner's cool new magazine style WordPress themes. You know, the one that everybody's been blogging about.
I must say it's a really cool looking theme and it gives Wordpress some nice CMS (Content Management System) like features that I've never seen before in a Wordpress theme.
Now, if you're used to just downloading a theme and installing it on your site and everything being in place then you may want to add a few extra hours to your setup time with this one. Since it does work more like a CMS you may have to rearrange some categories and content.
Also, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get under the old PHP hood to get content setup for the home page and the top, right-hand sidebar.
The Home Page makes sense but, I don't understand why he didn't "widgetize" the top of the sidebar. Also, the bottom, 2-colum, part of the side bar that is "widgetized" has some issues that I'm still trying to work out.
That having been said. I think I'm in love. This is going to be a fun theme to work with. And man is it sexy!
If you'd like a more detailed video review of this theme please post a comment below. If there's enough interest I'll do one.
Enjoy, Barry O.
