Which header are you referring to? I don’t see any “smash up”.

Actually, I use FireFox 99% of the time and only use IE when testing new sites.

The original design inspiration for the WordPress Dream Theme came from a Joomla template called ja teline ... and there are plenty of features which set it apart from Adii's designs (which are very nicely designed), like being able to switch out which categories are displayed on the home page, without having to edit any PHP code. Additionally, I should point out that the WordPress Dream Theme is a first generation WordPress Theme, and even more features are forthcoming, like the ability to easily add a slideshow of images on the home page that can link to any URL, again without having to edit any HTML or PHP code. Everybody that buys the Dream Theme gets FREE upgrades for one year whenever the theme is updated, PLUS free installation, setup, and customization ... who else has ever offered to do that??

Absolutely, and I’m not one of those propeller heads. I am horrible with code, about the most I can do is change colors. I got the generious people in Brian’s forum to code everything else for me, and I just cut and paste. They have been great.

It does set you apart too, it says, ‘i care about my work and take it seriously.” Since gettig this theme my traffic has jumped, and I have been retaining my visitors at a higher percentage than ever. So there is soething to getting away from the scrolling list of posts.

The Dream theme does a lot of nice things. it’s the package, it looks like Addi’s theme rearranged, with some image dividers. It loks great, it does great things, and again, if I was in the market for adii’s theme, I would buy this instead. I’ll give you that, it’s just design wise he worked off that base instead of innovating.

Nick, I love Brian's themes and think his design work is great. And, while a lot of the premium themes may look similar, to use one is to definitely set your blog apart from the millions out there that are using old-style themes. The "true innovation" of what Ben is doing with the WordPress Dream Theme is that he's making his easily accessible to everyone, not just us "Propeller Heads", by including setup and customization. Just a few tweaks here and there can give your site a completely different look. If you don't know HTML and PHP and would rather spend your time writing for and marketing your blog rather than wrestling with code the WordPress Dream Theme is a good option for you. Barry O.

I like this theme, the one being featured here, but it’s too similar to Adii’s premium news theme. Sorry Ben, but you used the same header and the same general layout, now if I were choosing between the two, I would pick yours because of the features shown in the video, but all the premium theme’s look alike. I think Brian is ahead of the competition because he’s doing soething different, setting trends, and being a true innovator.

The revolution magazine theme looks great, which is why I bought it, but after putting it on my site I realized it could look a lot better for what I need. with minimal effort, you could make your site look a lot like that one. this theme has all the elements you need, you just have to rearrange it to make it look how you want. It does suck sometimes that you have to get under the hood and do some manual coding, but with the results, it’s worth it. I would definately reccomend taking your main story and stretching it accross the top of the page so that it sets it apart and your readers aren’t confused as to what’s most important.
