Using WordPress as a CMS for a Lead Gen Site

I frequently talk about using WordPress as a content management system for building all types of websites. Well, this week I thought I would actually show you a project I've been working on for a friend of mine.
My friend is a local roofing and home remodeling contractor. He wanted a site that looked professional, was search engine optimized, could be set up quickly and managed easily. And, although their not doing it yet, he wanted the ability to add blog posts in the future. So, of course I recommended WordPress.
The first thing I did was purchase Ben Cope's WordPress Dream Theme. I told Ben exactly how I wanted the design to look and within a day or two I had my website design.
I of course made sure to include a very clear call-to-action in the sidebar of every page. (Easily done with WordPress)
Next, I added all of the pages and used the All in One SEO plug-in to write keyword targeted titles and descriptions for each.
Then, I created a Google account and set up Google Analytics (Using the Google Analytics Plug-in) and added the sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools. (Using the Google Sitemap Plug-in)
I also used the cForms II plug-in from Delicious Days for the contact and lead gen forms. And the "My Page Order" plug-in to easily change the order of my WordPress page links in the navigation bar.
So, within a matter of a few short days I was able to deliver exactly what the client wanted and needed. And any time they want to start blogging or adding additional content to the site all they have to do is login to the WordPress admin and type it in.
Honestly, it's never been this easy to build dynamic, database driven websites using WordPress and the WordPress Dream Theme as a content management system.

Hi thanks for that Barry, I've got a similar job on myself for a UK Fencing and Lanscaping company http://www.harperfencing.co.uk and I can't decide between Revolution and Dreamtheme, what are your thoughts? There is not going to be loads of content, but a far as posting blogs go it needs to be fairly idiot proof. Do any have auto-thumbnailing and image resizing? That would be well cool.
Look forward to hearing from you!

Rick,
I think the WordPress Dream Theme is definitely more user friendly than the Revolution theme.
Don't get me wrong. I love the Revolution themes. Obviously, I use one on my blog. But, if you don't have a lot of content and you want it to be really easy to update then, WP Dream Theme would be my choice.
