What If You Could Add Your Opt-in Form to Any YouTube Video?

Magic Video PlayerInteresting question isn’t it?

I have to believe the answer is you would get a lot more opt-ins if you could include a form at the end of your own videos or any YouTube video.

There is a new tool out called Magic Video Player that allows you to easily add an Autoresponder form (like Aweber) to the end of your own videos or any YouTube video. Once the form is embedded into the video you can place the video on any blog or website by simply copying and pasting some code.

I just downloaded it today and will begin testing it this weekend. It’s only $19 so I figure I don’t have much to loose. Plus, if it works it will be money well spent.

Here’s the link if you want to give it a try. http://1cat.biz/mvp

Post your comments below and let me know what you think of it.

Sincerely, Barry O.

Thanks Barry – I love checking back to your site. It’s bookmarked. Thanks to Mark Widawer & a webinar you did with him a few months back. Your content is awesome. I’m just learning & there’s a lot of C*&p out there!

Will be interested to see your comments on this optin form program.

    Cheers

    Dave

Thanks Dave! Yeah, I really like Mark. He is a good guy with a lot of great marketing and technical knowledge. I work with him frequently.

I will keep you posted here on the blog to let you know how it works. I have to come up with a really good video first.

Ok Dave I created my first video opt-in form using the Magic Video Player.

All in all it works pretty good. Let’s see if I get any opt-ins. ;)

You can see the video in the top right-hand corner of my blog.

There are some things about the actual MVP program that I don’t care for. I am going to do a No B.S. product review of it next week.

But, it’s definitely worth the $19 to try it out.

Not a bad idea but I don’t like the idea of paying monthly!

The monthly fee doesn’t really bother me. Especially, if I’m getting a large number of opt-ins from my videos. It’s worth the small amount of $19 IF it’s helping me to build my list(s).

That having been said I have some other issues with this software.

The main issue is that if someone clicks on the actual video while it’s playing it forwards them to the Magic Video Player home page. You can’t change that link and you can’t insert your own affiliate link. Essentially you’re paying $19 per month to advertise their product for them.

Now that is lame!!! If their going to do it that way it should be free. Or, they should allow you to insert your own links into the paid version.

This software was a good idea but for the reason stated above I don’t use it nor do I recommend it.

I have used the Magic Video Player for a short period. There is nothing it can do, that you cannot do with cheap flash player software. And if you sign up, you’ll have a hard time unsubscribing again. No contact information, no canselation link, and if you click support, you are greeted with the message: “If you want support, you can kiss my ass”. – How trustwearthy is that. I’ll have to block the payment to get out of his service again.
    Stay away from that serviced!

    regards Ole

Agreed. I DO NOT recommend this software.
